This was a great invention which had the interface of full digital transmission of digital audio as well as video data, form the personal computer to the monitor. This is also available as version 1.3 since the year 2006. This was initially introduced for the purpose of industrial use. This was basically introduced for the entertainment systems which are used in private.
The HDMI was basically developed to avoid the loss or degradation in the transformation of data while the analogous or digital content is converted to each other. The film industry always wanted to avoid the distribution of video data digitally. This was due to certain privacy reasons. Thus, protection of High-bandwidth Digital Content would be integrated nearly in all HDMI compatible systems.
